Introduction: The growing increase in the elderly population requires more research to identify the health priorities of this group, especially in critical situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the current study was conducted to determine the influential components of MARITAL SATISFACTION and its relationship with lifestyle in Urmia City in 2021. Methods: In this descriptive-analytical and cross-sectional correlational study, 220 married elderly living in Urmia were selected through cluster sampling. The Miler's life SATISFACTION and Haynes's MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaires were used in addition to the demographic questionnaire to collect data in this research. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests (mean and standard deviation, frequency, and percentage) and analytical (Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple linear regression) at a significant level of P ≤ 0.05. Results: A step-by-step multiple linear regression model also revealed that variables of lifestyle (ß = -0.364), age (ß = 0.425), number of children (ß = 0.143), occupation (ß = 0.425) and illness (ß = 3.608) - had the most considerable contribution in the sensitive prediction of MARITAL SATISFACTION. The regression model excluded other demographic variables. Conclusions: This study showed that lifestyle and demographic variables such as age, number of children, occupation, and illness have the greatest contribution in predicting MARITAL SATISFACTION. Therefore, it seems necessary to design counseling services in comprehensive health centers for this group so that counselors can teach healthy lifestyles to older adults to improve MARITAL relationships.

Background: Infertile couples only think of having children during their sexual intercourse, and their constant concern about this issue increases their stress level. Psychosocial and social stress leads to decreased life SATISFACTION, increased MARITAL problems, and reduced sexual confidence. This study aims to determine the effect of enrichment program on MARITAL and sexual SATISFACTION as well as MARITAL intimacy among infertile couples.Materials and Methods: This randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on 50 infertile couples in 2013 in Hamedan. The MARITAL relationship enrichment program was taught to the experimental group during seven 90 minutes sessions. Enrich MARITAL SATISFACTION, Linda Berg sexual SATISFACTION, and MARITAL intimacy questionnaires were completed by both groups in 3 pretest steps immediately after the end of training sessions, and 8 weeks later. The results were analyzed in STATA11 software using t test, Chi-square, ANCOVA, RM-ANOVA, and Bonferroni post-hoc test. To check the data normality, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used. P<0.05 was considered significant.Results: Comparison of mean scores related to pretest on the one hand and immediately after the test in 8 week later on the other hand showed MARITAL relationship enrichment program significantly increased MARITAL and sexual SATISFACTION (P<0.001). Also, mean score of MARITAL intimacy immediately after the test (P=0.04) and 8 weeks after the test (P<0.001) significantly increased in comparison with the pretest under the influence of the program.Conclusion: Enrichment training can increase MARITAL intimacy and also MARITAL and sexual SATISFACTION in infertile couples (Registration Number: IRCT201604299014N97).

This research was carried out to predict MARITAL SATISFACTION based on parental MARITAL SATISFACTION and healthy family-of-origin. In this study, martial SATISFACTION is considered as the most important component of marriage. This research had a descriptive, correlational design. The statistical population of the study included all young couples aged 30-40 in Kermanshah whose marriage had lasted for at least 2 years. Convenience sampling method was utilized and 70 couples (140 individuals) were selected. In addition, one of the parents of the selected couples was also included in the statistical sample. The instruments included ENRICH Questionnaire (Olson et al., 1982) and Family-of-Origin Scale (Hovestadt et al., 1985). The obtained data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis (enter method). Results indicated that there was a significant, positive relationship between MARITAL SATISFACTION and parental MARITAL SATISFACTION. Furthermore, a significant, positive association was observed between MARITAL SATISFACTION and healthy family-of-origin. The results of regression analysis demonstrated that parental MARITAL SATISFACTION and healthy family-of-origin accounted for 13 percent of variance in MARITAL SATISFACTION.

Abstract: This study sought to answer the question of what are the causes of MARITAL infidelity in the Iranian family. To Answer the Research Question, Qualitative Meta-Synthesis (QMS) Method Were Used. Then, 78 Scientific Papers Which Were Considered MARITAL Infidelity in Iran were identified and were Analyzed. The results showed that the factors of infidelity in Iran can be classified into 9 main categories, including: 1. Social factors, 2. Psychological factors, 3. Cultural factors, 4. Family factors, 5. Personal factors, 6. Relational factors, 7. Economic factors, 8. Media factors, 9. Contextual factors. Each of the main Categories is divided into Different Subcategories. The Social Factors of infidelity were including “Infidelity Opportunities”, “Friend groups” and “Environmental Conditions”. Psychological Factors of Infidelity Were Including “Personality Type”, “Attachment Styles”, and their “Love Schema”. Cultural Factors have Pointed to “Change in Beliefs and values” and “the level of Religious Education” of people. The Family Factors were including “Inappropriate Marriage”, “Family Conflict” and “the Kind of Family Background of people”. The Personal Factors are “Sexual DisSATISFACTION”, “Emotional DisSATISFACTION”, “the Feeling of Loneliness”, “the Spouse Unavailability”, “Weakness in Controlling Spouse”, “Domestic Violence”, “Revenge of the Spouse” and “the Role of the Third Person in the Relationship”. The Economic factors are including “the Economic Status of the person”, “the Role of Economic Problems”, “the motivation of entering into infidelity under the Pretext of Job promotion”. The media Factors Were Emphasized on “weakening Iranian Values through Social Media Networks and Foreign Satellite Channels” and “Producing of New Needs by Media”. Finally, the Contextual Factors were including the Role of “Age” and “Gender” in the Infidelity. Findings showed that Infidelity Occurred in the group of men and youth in Iran, more than other Social Groups.

Introduction: Nowadays, the strengthening couples through MARITAL enrichment programs for encounter with MARITAL problems have received family professional’s attention. The objective of this research was investigation the effect of ENRICH's and Glasser's MARITAL enrichment programs on couple’s MARITAL SATISFACTION.Method: This study was an experimental design and pretest-posttest with control group. Participants were 36 married couples in Behzisti's counseling centers of Ardebil that selected by available sampling method. All Subjects completed the ENRICH MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaire. Then subjects randomly assigned in two experimental and one control groups. (24 couples in the experimental groups and 12 couples in the control group). Two experimental groups received ENRICH and Glasser MARITAL enrichment programs and control group had no treatment. In the end of treatment, couples again completed ENRICH MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance, Analysis of Covariance, Multivariate Covariance Analysis and scheffe test.Results: MARITAL enrichment programs could effectively increased and improved MARITAL SATISFACTION in experimental groups compared to the control group. Also ENRICH and Glasser MARITAL enrichment programs improved MARITAL SATISFACTION dimensions such as personality issues, MARITAL communication, conflict solving, financial management, leisure activity and sexual relationship but comparisons among the two programs revealed that none of them was clearly superior.Conclusion: In sum, the findings of present research revealed that the usage of MARITAL enrichment programs could prevent of MARITAL distress and divorce.

The present study has attempted to look into the relationship between sexual efficacy and MARITAL SATISFACTION; hence, the sample comprised 194 female students from the psychological department of Roudehen Azad University who had been selected through the accessibility mode and were evaluated using the “Sexual Efficacy and General Efficacy Questionnaires”. Results revealed that sexual efficacy and MARITAL SATISFACTION were significantly correlated to one another and individuals’ scores on sex efficacy can be predicted by considering their scores on MARITAL SATISFACTION.
